About this Role

The Caseworker will represent branch members on an individual/collective basis and provide advice on work related issues.  This post requires industrial relations experience, a good understanding of Employment Law, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as IT and administrative skills.

Essential to this role is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team.  A full driving license and the ability to travel extensively across Kent is required. A car is not provided. The successful applicant will need to provide their own vehicle and provide adequate Business Insurance.

You must be able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise work.  You should be familiar with the local government, schools, further education, private, community and voluntary sectors, where the work will be undertaken.

A commitment to the Trade Union movement and UNISON’s values is essential.
