The Branch Caseworker/Organiser will represent branch members on an individual and collective basis and provide advice on work related issues. This post calls for strong negotiating and industrial relations experience, organising experience, IT skills, and an ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies for members working within UNISON Shropshire General branch.
Essential to this role is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team. You will need the ability to travel extensively across Shropshire, so the post holder must have access to a suitable means of transport readily available to them.
You must be able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise work. You should be familiar with issues facing the local government and private sector.
