The role: As our Associate Director of Communications and Campaigns you’ll use your drive, your passion and your comprehensive and wide-ranging experience to lead our award-winning communications department and deliver an exceptional communications service to our members. You’ll lead in developing and implementing powerful communications and campaigns strategies which reach all our key audiences, including identifying and developing the right channels for best engaging with our members.
The person: You’ll work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to devise and implement effective strategies for influencing decision makers, campaigning on a range of issues, engaging our members and developing our digital presence. You’ll also lead on the development and implementation of a stakeholder engagement strategy.
A key part of your role will be developing innovative approaches for communicating our brand and leading on the development of key messages for high profile events such as RCN Congress and Annual General Meeting, working effectively with our stakeholders. A strategic thinker, and an effective and credible personal communicator, you’ll be a confident and skilled decision maker, with the ability to act on your own initiative and make difficult decisions.
You’ll need experience of effectively managing corporate communications at a national level, as well as a proven track record in planning, implementing and evaluating successful integrated communications campaigns.
