About this Role

The Campaigns, Communications and Digital department is driving the future of digital communication within the TUC. Our goal is to use digital technology to grow the trade union movement and support the work of unions.

We’re constantly improving and developing our websites, social media channels and digital campaigns to ensure our digital communication speaks out in the interest of working people and stand up for their rights at work.

The role

We are looking for a fast learning, a digital-savvy individual who has a strong interest in developing professional skills and experience in digital content creation, to join our team. You will provide valuable support to the digital team by creating compelling content to inform, engage and influence our audiences on the issues they care about the most, while undertaking a recognised Level 3 apprenticeship qualification as a Junior Content Producer.

What experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need?

  • Some experience in writing and editing copy for digital platforms in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Good digital capability and awareness of social media platforms
  • An understanding of the importance of professionalism in the workplace
  • Good GCSE grades particularly in English and Maths
