The world trade system must enshrine labour standards if workers around the world are to be protected. The TUC campaigns for the International Labour Organisation to have a voice at the World Trade Organisation, the intergovernmental forum where the world’s trade rules are decided. We do this through our work with the ILO and global union partners, and other campaigning groups such as the Trade Justice Movement, and by lobbying the UK Government.
