Inspiration and culture in times of crisis

Come along for a rousing experience on International Women's Day to hear out guests' stories of resistance and hope, to celebrate the role of women in the global struggle, and to listen to some great live music and performance poetry.

Date: Friday 8th March

Time: 4.30pm-7.30pm

Venue: Assembly Rooms, Fenkle Street, Newcastle upon Tyne

Guest Speakers: Alfamir Castillo, President of the Women Sugar Cane Cutters Committee, Colombia; Rafeef Ziadah, Palestinian performance poet & War on Want Senior Campaigns Officer. Chair: Clare Williams, Northern TUC Women's Group.
