Tube fare rises will hit commuters hard

Commenting on the news today (Tuesday) that some London Underground season tickets will rise by as much as 4.3 per cent in January 2014, TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“The Mayor is adding to London’s living standards crisis. He must think that we are all suffering from a low IQ if he expects hard-pressed commuters not to notice this fares hike.”
