National Retraining Scheme - Get Help to Retrain

The National Retraining Scheme is the Government’s new programme, developed alongside the TUC and CBI through the National Retraining Partnership, to prepare adults for future changes to the economy, including those brought about by automation. It will help adults to retrain and secure better jobs whilst supporting employers to get the skilled workers they need.

Union learning reps will play a key role in supporting workers to access the advice and retraining opportunities made available through the scheme.

This webinar provides a short overview of the development of the National Retraining Scheme and a demonstration of the first part of the scheme, Get Help to Retrain, which we have now launched in the Liverpool City Region.’
