TUC’s sister trade union centre in Brazil, the CUT, sent this short message to TUC Congress from leading representatives including Sergio Nobre (National President), Natalina Lourenco (National Anti-Racism Secretary) and Rosana Fernandes (Anti-Racism Committee).
Congress paid tribute to trade union colleagues and activists who have passed away in the last year, including Maureen Cummings, Patrick Hughes, Peter Jacques, Bill McCall, Leif Mills, John Morton, Ramesh Ramnarine, Alec Smith and Dave Storrie.

The TUC and our affiliates are committed to promoting equality in all aspects of our work. The biennial TUC Equality Audit is a key part of delivering on that commitment and tracking our progress. The audits alternate between looking at collective bargaining for equality, and union efforts to improve representation and participation. The 2021 audit focuses on collective bargaining.
