The Covid-19 pandemic has put a huge strain on our working lives.

As the virus spiralled out of control, and key workers going out to work faced tremendous pressures, trade unions worked hard to make sure health and safety rules were met and working people protected from the deadly virus. 

 At the same time, unions were also fighting to save jobs and avoid mass unemployment hitting our communities.  

In this #HeartUnions event,  local union representatives and officers based in Cornwall describe the pressures local workers have faced -  and still continue to face - during the coronavirus pandemic.
