It is a great pleasure to extend an invitation to you to attend unionlearn's fourteenth annual conference on Tuesday 3rd November 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event will be held fully online and the theme will be around Skills and Recovery.
The conference will also reflect on our achievements, including ULR awards and look ahead to key priorities such as negotiating more high-quality apprenticeships and helping young people make the transition into work or further training. A broad agenda will focus on skills development through learning of individuals and communities, meeting the needs of a modern workforce, and supporting high quality apprenticeships to boost social justice, productivity and the UK skills base.
The conference is of course a chance to celebrate our work over the past year as well as looking forward to the year ahead.
The conference will be chaired by Mary Bousted, Joint General-Secretary of The National Education Union and Chair of the unionlearn Board. Speakers confirmed so far include:
Outline programme and login instructions will be sent to you directly nearer the time of the conference.
