Training for Union Learning Reps and Union Reps

Unionlearn, is introducing Career Kickstart Reviews – a way of Union reps providing careers support for young people in the workplace in thinking about and planning for their career development.

Unionlearn recently produced a support booklet for those delivering Career Kickstart Reviews and this training session is designed to explore some of the information in that booklet in more detail.

Aim:
To introduce Career Kickstart Reviews and develop your confidence in delivering them

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session you will…

• Understand the background to Career Kickstart Reviews and why they are important
• Have a flavour for some basic theory behind careers-related work
• Understand how a Career Kickstart Review session could be structured
• Have had an opportunity to use some of the practical resources available to use

Lunch will be available for all participants from 12.00 noon.
The sessions will start at 1pm and will conclude by 4pm. A detailed session outline will be provided on the day.
