There's a wealth of evidence that expressive writing is good for your health - so come along and try it out for yourself! Facilitated by a professional author, this workshop is free, friendly, and fun.

Expect chat, simple writing exercises and a creative break from the usual routine.

The Royal Literary Fund is a national organisation of professional writers. Its aims include employing writers to bring writing skills to wider audiences. We've been working with unions for over three years to establish writing projects in workplaces across the UK.

Clare Shaw is a Bloodaxe poet who is working on her fourth collection of poetry; with a background in mental health, Clare is passionate about using poetry to support health and wellbeing.

This workshop is part of unionlearn’s Literacy Works Week (#literacyworks) which takes place 8-12 March.
