Gather any group of union activists together to discuss low membership amongst young workers and what to do about it and you can bet that most, if not all, of the above will be mentioned as causes and solutions.
The fact is the reasons are more complex and the solutions may require a more fundamental rethink of how we present trade unions to young workers than many of us might be comfortable with.
