WTUC is pleased to invite reps from all unions (including those that are waiting for training) to attend the South Wales Union Learning Rep Conference on Wednesday 20th February 2018.

This event is free to attend and will be hosted at St Fagans National Museum of History, Cardiff. The day will offer an opportunity to learn, network with other reps and guests including our guest speakers and WTUC staff.

This years themes will be looking at 'Union Learning, a whole Branch Approach' and you are encouraged to invite a colleague in the branch to attend with you and learn more about our work.

There will be an opportunity to attend two workshops that you can sign up to on the day and more detailed information on these and the agenda will be available soon

The event will open at 9.00 for Registration and we will finish the day at 16.00.

Lunch

A buffet lunch will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary requirements before the event.

The Museum is signposted from junction 33 of the M4 motorway (follow road signs for the Museum of Welsh Life), with direct access from the A4232.

Parking

£5.00 per day. Please bring change as machines cannot accept notes or card payments. FREE for disabled badge holders, motorbikes and coaches.

By Train

The nearest rail station is Waungron Park located 2 miles from St Fagans. Services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales. Waungron Park Station is located next to the main bus route to St Fagans. Visit Traveline Cymru to plan your journey.

By Bus

Buses operate between Cardiff City and St Fagans National Museum of History throughout the year:

  • Easyway 32A – stops in the main car park of the Museum.
  • 320 – stops at St Fagans village.
  • 321 – stops at St Fagans village.

The bus ride between the Museum and Cardiff city centre is approximately 25 minutes.

Accessibility

The venue is disability and accessible friendly. There are ample 'blue badge' spaces and there is a hearing induction loop throughout the conference centre. Should you have any specific needs please get in touch.
