The TUC Yorkshire and the Humber Women in Leadership programme is designed for women who are, or who are interested in, playing a larger role in the running of their union at workplace or official levels.

It will develop your leadership skills and build your confidence level whatever role you hold or want to hold.

This course will cover:

✔ leadership styles
✔ barriers to leadership
✔ networking and influencing
✔ campaigning and much more.

It will be delivered online through a combination of individual working, group discussion, online contributions and project work along with guest speakers and opportunities to contribute to trade union conferences and events.

You will be given all you need to complete each element of this course and with tutor and peer support and some self-motivation, you can achieve all the required outcomes. Previous participants have found far reaching benefits from the course and the support and camaraderie from the group.

The course is supported by trade union education tutors, TUC Yorkshire and the Humber staff and the TUC Yorkshire and the Humber regional equality committee and will run online on the following Tuesdays:

  • 18 May
