Overview

This reads like a bad movie plot, but - it's 2025, Twitter is now called "X" and is owned by a billionaire demagogue who recently threw a Nazi salute live on television. As algorithms trend towards promoting far-right content, and social media platforms destabilise, many trade unionists and campaigners are left wondering what we should do now.

The TUC South West is convening a special strategy session to look at these and related issues and chart a course to strengthen our movement.

The event will take place at the TUC offices in North Bristol; a hybrid option will be available.
