Overview

We are celebrating Literacy Works Week, so taking a look at resources in the TUC Library and Citizen Literacy adult literacy programme and app. We’ll also check what is happening with the digital skills entitlement with BCS.

Agenda:

  • Kick-off, welcome and housekeeping – Kirsi Kekki, unionlearn
  • Citizen Literacy programme – John Casey, City of Glasgow College
  • TUC Library resources – Jeff Howath, London Met University
  • Essential digital skills qualification and entitlement – Clare Hickey, BCS

Join us to discuss English, maths and digital skills learning support in the workplace. We welcome union reps and project workers and others who are interested in policy developments, supporting English, maths and digital skills learning and sharing ideas and good trade union practice.
