The NHS is 69 years old on Wednesday 5th July 2017 – we are supporting trade unions, trades union councils and other bodies, organisations and groups to thank each and every NHS worker for all the work they do.
Public sector pay has been capped for too long. This is despite rising inflation and increased living costs. Workers in the UK are on average £1200 worse off a year than in 2008. It's not OK that NHS staff like nurses are resorting to food banks to get by.
