Making Pensions Work for People - 2012 Trustee conference branding

The 2012 TUC annual member trustee network conference, Making Pensions Work for People, took place on 27 November. The conference explored how trustees can ensure that their investments are focussed on sustainable strategies and produce the long term results that pension fund beneficiaries need.

Our thanks go to the delegates who took part, and to our speakers and workshop facilitators. The conference included keynote addresses from the Minister of State for Pensions Steve Webb MP and Professor John Kay, author of The Kay Review of Equity Markets and Long-Term Decision Making.

The event also included expert-led workshops and a panel debate between Paul Todd, Head of Investment Policy, NEST and Hugh Wheelan, Managing Editor Responsible Investor on ESG and investment decisions.

You can download presentations and resources from the conference workshops/sessions below.
