Overview

Women make up 55% of trade union members but they are under represented in union leadership roles and as workplace representatives.

We know when working women come together and take action, they win, so how can we make sure women are active at every level of our movement.

As part of the 2021 TUC Women's Conference, join this workshop to discuss:

  • Why we need more women to become union representatives and workplace activists
  • How we organise to achieve this
  • Best practice examples from our movement and the women's sector

As this is part of our Women's Conference, please note, it is expected that all attendees shall be women.

Speakers:

Alice Arkwright, TUC Education

Jenni Gunn, Organising Officer, PCS Scotland

Sophia Moreau, campaigner
