Responding to the appointment of new Commissioners for the UK Commission for Employment and Skills today (Monday), TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said:
'The Employment and Skills Commission is a welcome step towards bringing about a UK-wide employment and skills system that better meets the needs of the workforce, business and the unemployed.
'As a new Commissioner, I look forward to contributing to this important new body and in particular to supporting the development of a system that enables all employees to achieve their full potential in the workplace.'
