National Inspection Day - Wednesday 27^th October 2010

The Wednesday of European Health and Safety Week has been designated "National Inspection Day" when all safety representatives are asked to inspect their workplace. In 2010, this is the 27^th October.

The TUC has produced a simple guide to inspections that includes forms, adapted from the HSE recommended forms, and a checklist. These can be downloaded below.

In addition there is a poster that safety representatives can put up in their workplace in the run-up to National Inspection Day. This is available in black and white for printing off on an ordinary copier, or in colour for those with more sophisticated copying facilities. Both of these can be downloaded below in either high or low resolutions.
