The main aim of the TUC's Organising Academy is to support unions to build organisational capacity and run effective campaigns.
This is done primarily through our training programme for union officers, organisers and leaders.
We also continue to offer our longstanding Diploma in Organising and a dedicated award for union support staff to enable them to contribute to the organising and campaign work undertaken by their unions. Our programme is delivered in partnership with Ruskin College (www.ruskin.ac.uk).
Alongside this, we work in partnership with sponsor unions to offer our Trainee Organiser programme and offer unions bespoke advice and guidance through strategic planning sessions, briefings for groups of elected officials and staff and even recruitment and selection of specialist staff.
If you would like more information on how we can support your union, please contact us organisingacademy@tuc.org.uk
