unionlearn website contains a wealth of information and advice to help union
learning reps be more effective in the workplace. The site has
key materials, resources and publications, many of which are free and an
online course directory lists a wide range of specialist training courses
for union reps and officers.

UNIONREPS
Being
a rep can be a lonely job, with 40% of unionised workplaces having
just one person to cover the role. This online community brings together
thoursands of reps from nearly all of the TUC's unions, who use the discussion
boards to swap ideas and get help and support on their daily work as a rep.

workSMART
from the TUC is a one stop shop for everything to do with your job – from
legal briefings to careers guidance. It's a useful bookmark for
anyone with a question about their legal rights, health and pensions issues.

PayWizard is a free salary checker service, letting you compare your earnings
against what other people get for the same job An online
survey lets users enter their own information, which is fed back into the database,
constantly improving its accuracy. The more people use it, the better it will
get.

Unionprofessionals is an online support service that enables people working
for UK unions to exchange news, views, ideas and best practice.
Union Learning Fund
The
Union Learning Fund (ULF) provides funding to help trade unions use their
influence with employers, employees and others to encourage greater take-up
of learning at work, and boost their capacity as learning organisations.

London Metropolitan University and the Trades Union Congress with digitised

Congress Centre
Set
within an architecturally-renowned listed modernist building, Congress
Centre has recently benefited from a £4.2 million refurbishment
and is now one of central London’s leading conference and events venues,
ideally located in the heart of the West End.
Climbing Frame
The union learning Climbing Frame is an interactive web-based tool, developed for Union Learning Reps to help support learners and promote learning in the workplace. The website provides up-to-date information and advice for ULRs about a broad range of learning opportunities. Information can be accessed quickly and easily with useful text, downloadable documents and recommended websites. In addition, ULRs can keep an ongoing record of who they are working with and where they are heading. ULRS can help learners set goals and generate actions which are captured in an Action Plan and on the Climbing Frame grid. They can then utilise the information they store to produce a variety of reports.
Community Day
Community
Day is a campaign by leading voluntary sector organisations for a new bank
holiday, one dedicated to communities and volunteering.
Speak Up For Public Services
Speak
up for Public Services brings together the TUC public services unions to call
for fair pay in the public sector.
