The TUC information service provides an enquiry service to TUC staff and trade union officials. Due to demand the information service can only provide external enquirers with general information about the TUC and respond to quick reference queries on affiliated unions and labour relations issues. The European Information Service is a specialist European Relay which can provide enquirers with information on industrial relations and labour related issues in the European Union. Enquirers can contact info@tuc.org.uk.

The TUC Library Collections are held in the Holloway Road Learning Centre of the London Metropolitan University. The Library is a major research resource for the study of all aspects of trade unions and people at work - in the past, present and future The emphasis is on Britain, but many other countries are represented, especially Europe and the Commonwealth.
The Library holds reference and historical works on the trade union movement, union publications from the UK and overseas, documents relating to working conditions and industrial relations in various industries, as well as materials collected from various campaigns and policy areas in which the TUC has been involved since its foundation in 1868.

The TUC archive includes the contents of the TUC Files Registry from the Registry's formation in the early 1920s to 1990. It includes unpublished documentation, files and correspondence from 1920-1990, which record the growth and development of the TUC, its relationship with affiliated unions, government, employers, and unions in other countries. It is held at the Modern Records Centre, University of Warwick where it is available for research.
