This post is for a 12 months maternity cover and is Based at PCS HQ, Clapham

PCS are looking for a skilled and experienced individual who can continue the union's work towards becoming an organising union. Working within the Law and Justice department, the successful candidate will be responsible for buildingcollective activity, running issue-based campaigns, motivating activists and recruiting new members.

S/he should have a detailed knowledge of the components of an organising strategy and experience of motivating and empowering members. Applicants will be expected to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. An interest in the application of ICT is desirable.
