Lights! Camera! Action!
Introducing a new, free, union professionals' course that puts organisers in the picture and unions in the spotlight
An exciting two-day course designed to provide union organisers, officers and staff with the knowledge and tools to make short films for use in organising and campaigning work.
This free course, sponsored by the TUC's Organising Academy and unionlearn, is provided by Mad Inertia, a video production company that started as a direct result of the national fire-fighters strike in 2002. Since then they have helped to make campaign films for unions such as GMB, Unite, FBU and Unison and organisations such as Love Music Hate Racism, Justice For Colombia and War On Want.
Course dates are 23 /24 October 2008 and 3 /4 February 2009. Both are located in London. To register click on Lights! Camera! Action!
