Thousands of civil servants to lose right to strike

Internships in London out of reach of most of the UK's youngsters
With youth unemployment on the increase again this week, many young people desperate for a job see unpaid internships as their best chance of getting experience of work. But research published by the TUC today (Saturday) suggests that almost four in five (78 per cent) 18-34 year olds could not afford to live in London away from home to become an unpaid intern.
