TUC welcomes Court of Appeal decision

Commenting on today's (Thursday) judgement from the Court of Appeal on the right of unions to take collective action across European borders, TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said:

"The TUC warmly welcomes the judgement from the Court of Appeal. Unions must be allowed to defend the interests of their members across the EU. This is a fundamental right for all working people in Europe."

The Court of Appeal has referred the case to the European Court of Justice.
