TUC backs Zimbabwe Vigil

The TUC is supporting the lunchtime Vigil organised by Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) outside the Embassy of Zimbabwe, 429, the Strand, London WC2, from 13.00 to 14.00 on 18 April 2011 on the occasion of the Independence Day in Zimbabwe. The TUC joins the ACTSA in its call for democracy, justice, the rule of law and an immediate end to violence.

The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU), in a statement, has condemned the current wave of violence in the country.
