Swaziland Democracy Day of Action

The TUC General Council join me in expressing our wholehearted support for the Swaziland Democracy Day of Action.

The TUC stands in solidarity with the people of Swaziland on this occasion and will, in close collaboration with our affiliates and the international trade union movement, do its best to support their struggle against injustice and the repression of democratic rights. We shall continue to assist the Swazi trade union movement in their efforts to strengthen their structures and institutions in order to defend the legitimate rights of the people of Swaziland and promote democracy, good governance and rule of law.
