TUC asks PM to help American workers get a free choice

TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber has written to the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown MP, urging him to support proposed legislation in the USA to make it easier for workers to join a trade union. The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) is supported by the AFL-CIO and President Obama, but needs to overcome stiff employer opposition.
