On behalf of the British trade union movement, please accept our sympathy and solidarity over the terrible weekend of fires across Victoria and elsewhere.
The tragic loss of life and the heroic struggles of the fire fighters and other emergency workers have struck us all.
If there is anything we can do to assist the Australian trade union movement in these dark times, please let me know. And please pass on our admiration to the emergency service workers and our condolences to those who have suffered loss.
