Organising and Representation

Globalisation means that effective protection of workers' rights in the UK requires work at an international level, with fellow trade unionists, engaging with transnational corporations, the UK and other governments and transnational bodies such as the European Union, the UN, International Financial Organisations and the World trade Organisation.

The TUC is keen to develop an international organising model, working closely with other trade union centres and international confederations and helping develop links between unions in different countries to defend workers'rights and to ensure that they are recruited, represented and organised
