Safety & Migrant Workers - guide for safety representatives

This guide aims to help safety representatives and other union officials work with migrant workers to make sure that their rights are protected. It covers the safety of people who come to the UK from abroad and who work permanently, temporarily or seasonally. It looks at those who appear on official statistics, such as those from the European Economic Area; those with work permits; those on working holidays; and also those who work without the protection of legal status. The report concentrates on migrant workers with low English language skills or with vulnerable employment or residency status.
