50 days of action against poverty and equality

Issue date

50 days of action against poverty and inequality

Global justice campaigners are getting ready to play their part in a 50 day global mobilisation against poverty and inequality, which runs between 1st September and 20th October 2008. The events held during this time will be of particular interest to affiliates and supporters of Make Poverty History and the continuing work of the Global Economic Justice Network.

BOND has put together a draft programme of action for the 50 days, which can be found on their website http://www.bond.org.uk/campaign/50daysprogramme.htm

Colleagues and partner organisations are encouraged to contact BOND and let them know if they would like to participate in any of the events they are organising, and of course if you are organising your own event, please contact BOND and let them know.
