Action for Rail - Tuesday 19th August

Tomorrow, rails unions will be taking action across the UK to highlight the rising fares and making the case to the general public of the need for public ownership of our railways.

Across the region, activity will take place at a number of stations with campaigners giving postcards to commuters which they can then use to lobby their MP. If you would like to support the action, all details are below:

• Lancaster station: 16:00 -18:00

• Liverpool Lime Street: 07:30 – 09:30

• Manchester Piccadilly: 07:30-09:30

• Wigan Wallgate and Wigan Northwestern: From 07:30

• Chester Station: From 07:30

• Hamilton Square: From 07:00
