Home Computing Initiative
STOP PRESS
The Home Computing Initiative - tax breaks to help staff buy PCs - will come to an end on April 6th 2006. Apparently the government thinks that too many top rate tax payers were taking advantage of a scheme primarily designed to help the low paid buy their first computer. This is a disappointing decision but you should still be able to take advantage of the scheme if there is one in your workplace and you get your order in before April 6.
