Millions of people in the UK are trapped in lowpaid, insecure jobs. There are more than 1.4 million zero-hours contracts in use, offering no steady work. Others, such as agency and casual workers, lose out on important rights and benefits. The recovery is creating new jobs but many are of poor quality. Decent Jobs Week: Hastings street stall
TUC Southern & Eastern region will be organising a street stall in Hastings for Decent Jobs Week.  There will be a photo opportunity at 12.30, photo with campaign banner, Father Xmas, a Christmas Elf and local people, more the merrier. Volunteers are welcome to help with street leafleting for any part of the afternoon. Decent Jobs Week: Derby street stall
For Decent Jobs Week we will be organising a street stall in Derby on 19 December from 12pm - 2pm. We will be engaging with the public to sign the 'Decent Jobs Week' giant christmas card, complete speech bubbles and we will be giving away our Decent Jobs Week christmas cards.
