SERTUC's eighth survey of equality in trade unions

This book captures a snapshot of unions' equality structures and activities - not only internal activities, but also the work done to strengthen the equality of opportunity for members in the workplace and society.

31 unions (covering 94% of TUC affiliated trades unionists) are included.

To enable easy access, information on respondent unions is outlined under the following headings: Overview, Women, Black Members, Disabled Members, LGBT, Pensioners, Young Members, Support for Activists, and The Wider Movement.

Treading Water also includes a guide to SERTUC's equality structures and activities.

We are delighted that the research and production was supported by the TUC and the European Social Fund and Equal project - so these books are free, although for larger orders we reserve the right to ask you for a contribution to pay for postage or couriers.
