Responding to the Government's commitment to a new a Single Equality Bill, announced today (Wednesday) in the Government's Draft Legislative Programme, TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said:
'The TUC welcomes the Government's commitment to a Single Equality Bill and looks forward to seeing the detail. In particular, the Bill must make it easier to tackle systemic inequality at work and in society.'
