LGBT Advice & Information

LGBT Equality in the Workplace: a TUC Guide for Union Negotiators on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans issues offers an up to date guide to the law and advice on good practice when taking up issues for LGBT members in the workplace. It also contains the advice on trans workers's rights and on monitoring sexual orientation and gender identity previously issued separately.

The latest Guide covers the position since the enactment of the Civil Partnership Act 2005, the Gender Recognition Act 2004 and the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003. It can be downloaded free from this website or ordered from TUC publications.
