Web accessibility: Change options
The TUC has produced a series of films about the fight for equal pay. They include oral history interviews with women and union representatives involved in some of the major equal pay cases since 1968. The films were made by two well-known film directors, Sarah Boston and Jenny Morgan, and jointly funded by the TUC, the Wainwright Trust and the European Social Fund.

The 36 per cent pay gap between part-time and full-time workers is the main barrier to closing the gender pay gap and tackling in-work poverty, the TUC says today (Wednesday).
The South West has one of the highest gender pay gaps in the UK - 12.4 per cent for full-time workers compared to 10.2 per cent for the UK as a whole, according to new government figures.
Commenting on the annual pay figures published today (Wednesday) by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said:
