Equality and Human Rights Commission inquiry

The recent Equality and Human Rights Commission inquiry has uncovered widespread evidence of the mistreatment and exploitation of migrant and agency workers in the meat and poultry processing sector.

In their report 'Inquiry in to recruitment and employment in the meat and poultry processing sector' they concluded that a key source of vulnerability is the insecurity caused by a lack of employment protection and rights.
