Wales TUC Annual Conference - Final Agenda Published
21st - 23rd May, Llandudno
Post Office closures, the treatment of migrant workers, public services, affordable housing and public sector pay are just some of the issues contained in the agenda for this year's Wales TUC Annual Conference.
Other topics featured across over 60 motions to be debated in Llandudno include respect for shopworkers, the future of manufacturing in Wales, school funding and education and training.
Key guest speakers include:
- Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary
- Rt Hon Paul Murphy MP, Secretary of State for Wales
- Rt Hon Rhodri Morgan AM, First Minister for Wales
- Eclides Mancipe Tabares & Luis Adan Arguello Martinez - Colombian trade unionists
- Patricia Mckeown -President of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU)
- Fiona Farmer - President of the Scottish TUC (STUC)
- Speaking at policy forums will be:
o Edwina Hart AM - Minister for Health & Social Services;

The Wales TUC Annual Conference is the main policy making forum for trade unions in Wales. This year's Conference takes place at the Venue Cymru Conference Centre, Llandudno from 21st to 23rd May.
